Community Tasting Notes 7

June 17, 2017 - Around 10 euro's and 8 years old. Well done. The wine is showing some maturity when the bottle is open for two hours. Fruity strawberry Pinot nose. Some mature bitterders on the palate but still a very pleasant and juicy Pinot Noir. A higher score for a younger version I guess.

April 27, 2015 - Three years since my previous TN and this is now fully mature. Tertiary aromas, more root than fruit by now on the nose, nutty evolution; silky, fresh and creamy palate, not as exuberant as before, tannins still provide good grip; adequate length, smoky oak. Attractive but drink up.

    March 30, 2014 - Well... it's ready, now.

Perfect? Not really. Remarkable? Yes. On the nose, it is full of rose and strawberry. Very remarkable nose indeed.

On palate, very structured, yet light as usual by Pinot Noir style.

Finished quite short, but... first impression always important.

I do love this wine. What's unfortunate for me is this bottle is the last one in my little cellar. I wish I should bought more.

Anyway, ready to drink now. Impressive Pinot Noir!

June 28, 2013 - Rood fruit in geur en smaak. Erg dun en iets te enthousiaste zuren voor mijn smaak.
    Niet mijn ding.

July 24, 2012 - Lovely Pinot Noir, bursting with fruit and root, slightly lactic, sweet but with a balancing hint of tannin, creamy, slightly soft, lacks a certain cut, decent length. Attractive, excellent QPR for € 8.35 excluding VAT.
