September 25, 2022 - A trip down memory lane. Starting to show its age a bit, but still velvety smooth. Garnet in color starting to brown. Long flowing legs down the glass. Tannins have faded leaving more acid on the palate. Flavors of Red and Black Berries, currant, maybe a little strawberry preserves. Still a bit of spice on the finish that I remember from its release in the clove/nutmeg range. Would pair well with food today.

March 19, 2022 - This is what I want from wine. Nose: cassis, blackberry, pepper, licorice, cocoa. Palate: sweet red fruit, candied cherry, smooth, great balance, some earthyness, long finish.

July 5, 2020 - Still plenty of life here. On the sweet side but enough complexity to carry it. Cool red fruit centric with tannins fully resolved. Drink now of in the next 2-3 years.
