    February 5, 2023 - Decanted for 1 hr.
Fresh fruit, soft and balanced tannins.
Not enough to stand up to a big steak, but lovely berry notes with some black slate.

December 12, 2011 - I had this over a year ago and was not too enthusiastic, but this bottle was more impressive. Reminded me of a Bandol with tart red fruit and some herbal and earthy notes. Really solid value.

February 28, 2011 - Domaine La Tour Vieille Collioure and Banyuls (Rich and Peggy's Home in Los Altos, California): Group's #7 (my #5) – 53 pts.; 0, 1, 0, 0 - very dark red violet color, starting to brick; very tart roasted red fruit, currant, brett, pepper nose; tight, tart red currant, roasted red fruit, roasted and peppery lamb, herbes de Provence, smoke palate, needs 2-3 years; medium-plus finish 91+ points

April 25, 2010 - Nose of sweet barnyard and hint of unwashed socks (others below said musk). Mild consistent acid on the attack with mild ripe sour and slightly (pleasantly) bitter chewy blackberry, dark cherry, and plum with loam, herbs, and a hint of pepper. Finishes of leather, wood, and lingering spiced fruit and wood. Yum.

December 3, 2009 - Kermit Lynch Tasting (Wine Exchange - Orange, CA): Clear red purple in the glass. Very distinct and pungent on the nose with earth/clay and stems. This is just as crazy on the palate with stems, earth, and underlying fruit. Somewhat astringent but interesting nonetheless because of the unique vein of musk running throughout.
