September 16, 2014 - Can't be beat for $13. Very pleasant Cote du Rhone with bright fruit and good balance between Grenache and Syrah front and middle. Works with food in that it has enough acid to complement without being boorish. What else do you need for a Tuesday night wine.

August 29, 2013 - Big dark fruited CDR. simple iwne that is all about the fruit, which is nice in a not-too-restrained style. Works bettter with food that can stand up to it (may BBQ ribs). Decent acid-not a flabby wine. Bit of heat peaking trough. If you are in the mood for this sort of wine, it absolutely delivers for $15.
