December 7, 2012 - We should have decanted it (or maybe shoudl have been more patient) as the wine was tight to start and needed some time to open up. The colour is just about showing some age. Nose is textbook, crushed berries, srawberry notes, dark fruits and reminants of oak. Quite nice and elegant on the nose. On the palate it is a bit tight and at times difficult with very some strong tannin on the start and needs to relax and age some more. 92+ at the moment but we would suggest one waits a few years before approaching.
