November 4, 2015 - Mature, herby with pepper and rich strawberry fruit. Slightly hot but ok with food. Probably a year past its best.

January 26, 2013 - If I'd wanted to drink over-ripe, hot and heavy shiraz-based wine it might have been easier to head straight to South Australia. ABV and burn dominates and its really hard to pick up any genuine flavour. Weak finish puts paid to any hopes time may heal.

February 3, 2012 - Fresh, modern, still purple colored wine with fresh berry fruit, garigue, pepper and dark chocolate. High in alcohol but enough complexity and balance to deal with it.

November 23, 2010 - 17 aussie dollar. Colour is concentrated deep purple. I have note seen wine this purple for a while. Burnt charcoal, black fruits, herbal. On the mouth juicy black fruits, really fresh and easy to drink. Medium tannin and medium to high acidity. It finishes quite dry. Very nice wine and diam closure. What a bargain!
