I always keep the original offers from Garagiste so I can read them years later, when drinking the wine. This offer was spot-on, describing the beautiful structure and earthiness of this aged Malbec from Argentina. So atypical, almost Bordeaux-like, with spice and tobacco leaf ahead of ripe-but-perfectly-dosed plum and black cherry fruit. No wood, this is a beautiful and transparent wine, with perfectly balanced acidity giving this relatively big wine wine freshness and energy. The finish is getting a bit shorter than 2.5 years ago, but the wine is just great. What a value. Drink now, it's in a perfect place.1 person found this helpful Comment -
