December 25, 2023 - Rich powerful still going strong .Showed well against Langoa Barton (tiring) and Leoville Las Cases (not ready)

April 5, 2022 - Nice promising Bordeaux nose but was surprised by red fruit instead of dark. Great acidity

March 14, 2022 - I am not one to let wines breathe for a long while. This bottle I drank over three days through no fault of its own. The whole stretch it was mouth filling and satisfyingly though not complex. I will look forward to enjoying my last two bottles when a friendly wine, graciously giving while not demanding my full attention is so appreciated.

March 12, 2022 - Really rich and textured. Canned crab apples, black plums and admirable length. When next I need a pleasant Bordeaux, I will grab another bottle. A rewarding save.

(Château Péby Faugères) Herbal, blackberry nose initially, that adds espresso after 15 minutes in the glass; very tannic, dark, big, blackberry, black fruit, well structured palate, needs more time; medium finish 92+ pts.
