  January 24, 2014 - Fully mature - the fruit transubstantiated - but by no means tired. A blessing to find such bottles on sales for not much more than £20. Long may Loire reds remain uncelebrated!

  October 23, 2013 - A remarkable freshness pervades the wine's aromas. Red vibrant franc fruit, lots of earth and a touch of asparagus and green capsicum.
  
  Palate follows through with more freshness. A very nice surprise, and in no danger drying out anytime soon. Uncertain there is any point in waiting any longer however. Delicious now.
  Drink or hold briefly.
  12.5% abv.

  June 22, 2013 - Lovely aroma of fully mature Cabernet Franc, well-integrated, some crushed red fruit, hint of earth, good length. Very decent, a remarkable 18-year old.
