January 13, 2014 - Still going strong. This is a really nice wine. Too bad this is my last bottle, and the good folks at Sequoia Grove don't cover this price point any longer.

February 10, 2008 - Wow. Great now. Mellowed out quite a bit in the past 2 years. Nice big flavor up front, with a muted blend of tastes. Nice long finish with the right balance. There was quite a bit of sediment stuck to the side of the bottle, but did not get into the glass. You may want to decant the next one.

September 10, 2006 - Getting better. this still needs to breathe a bit before all the flavors come out. A nice wine

January 22, 2006 - Had this after a bottle of merlot which paired nicly with the prime rib and spicy suace. This wine was a dramatic difference from the merlot. This syrah seemed bigger than in my previous tasting, lots of tannin. I had to unscrew my tongue out of the top of my mouth after the first sip, but after that it quite enjoyable with a long finish. in a couple of years this will really be a good wine.
