August 25, 2017 - Fruity, lush, juicy and smooth with round edges and a soft texture. Drank alongside an '08 St. Innocent Momtazi and this was a bit bigger and with more fruit and a heavier texture than the SI. The SI was a bit more elegant and had more grip. Both were very good. I would have liked a bit more grip on the finish of this wine, but overall it was very enjoyable.

April 8, 2017 - this wine is still going strong ... i was thinking it would be a bit on the thin side given '09 vintage ... big enough and at >14% alcohol probably best to let sit open a couple of hours
