Community Tasting Notes 5

November 18, 2012 - pale lemon green coloured with slight legs. Medium intensity aromas of elderflower, thyme, slight meaty and farmyard notes, apple and pear and touches of banana with some minerality. In the mouth the wine is dry with medium plus acid and alcohol that is warm and slightly intrusive on the medium minus length finish. The wine has medium body and medium minus flavour intensity with flavours of citrus and slight bitter and savoury spice. Interesting nose, dull and simple in the mouth. Nah.

November 4, 2011 - Non noté. Nez de lait caillé. Possiblement défectueux mais belle structure et minéralité en bouche.

August 13, 2011 - Douglas Lamb Wines Trade Tasting (Art House Hotel, Pitt Street, Sydney): Cream slight fruit and almond. Mineral tones. In the mouth it's tart green apple, slight bitterness and a medium long finish with a certain amount of tongue coating.

May 30, 2011 - Pale yellow. Restrained, with citrus fruit and mineral scents on the nose. Much better on the palate, with bright minerality, mouthwatering acidity and a medium finish. A well-made, everyday white that retains its character as a Santorini. 90% assyrtico and 5% each athiri and aidani.
