Community Tasting Notes 1

September 20, 2005 - Dark red/brownish color. Leather, rust, and wet soil on the nose. Light body. Iron oxide and garrigue with aromas of barnyard. Tingling acidity on the palate with complex barnyard flavors, reminiscent of a southern Rhone red. However, there is almost no fruit left. This wine has definitely been aged too long. It's almost past maturity.
