  October 11, 2023 - The best Zin Ted Seghesio ever made !! I agree with my tasting note of the past 14 months; this lovely wine is still tasting great !!
  Perfect cork after over a decade in the bottle, easily removed. Consumed at dinner with friends. This balanced Zinfandel softens with air and develops nicely. Dark red color with little to no oxidation and good clarity. Aromas of blackberry and fig. Flavors of bramble berries, boysenberry black raspberry, and black currant. This gorgeous wine has a medium to long finish. This is a Zinfandel is from head-trained vines planted in 1895 on the Seghesio family's Home Ranch is in Alexander Valley. Great old vine fruit excellently made wine by Ted Seghesio. This age worthy wine has a few more years of life left. Unfortunately, I have no bottles remaining in my cellar.

  December 18, 2021 - Great wine. Holding well. Acid has mellowed to a nice fruity zin with still a slight sweetness. Dark Ruby with alot of body.
