September 20, 2022 - Classic Brunello in a really good place! Drink or hold 3-5 years.

March 15, 2022 - Decanted for 45 minutes which helped to open the wine. Dark red fruit and earth, along with touches of tobacco and leather on the nose. The medium bodied palate shows the same dark red fruits and earth, and touches of tart cherry, tobacco and spice. The acidity was nicely balancing, and the tannins were almost completely integrated.
A great showing for a 15-year-old Brunello that has several more years to satisfy and delight.

January 30, 2022 - Forgot to take detailed notes. This bottle was pretty good, but still seemed a bit rough around the edges. The tannins are still pretty firm and it just didn't seem fully integrated. On the plus side, there is still plenty of fruit and depth, so I think this can wait a few more years and will probably get substantially better. No hurry to drink my other two.

December 30, 2021 - This is showing well at 15 years of age, mature with a dash of funk on the nose, then red and black fruit that really spreads out on the palate. I will have to try my next bottle side-by-side with the 2004 to see which vintage I prefer.
