  August 3, 2009 - JJ Prum 83 - 2003 and More (Scott Worcester's in Southwest Harbor, ME): This wine was a deep golden yellow/amber color in the glass with scents of petrol, burnt rubber, sap, and honey on the nose. In the mouth there was still some acidity and weight in this medium bodied wine as flavors of poached pears, citrus, and honey coated the palate along a medium length finish. While an outstanding wine, I do not see this getting any better. If you have some it would be worth checking in on it.

  March 31, 2009 - On the nose there is a strong scent of botrytis and honeycomb; with subtle notes of baked apples lingering in the background. In the mouth there is a round honey and lemon chamomile lingering on the palate as the finish subtly slips away like a lover in the night. My first 1990 German Riesling and I will look forward to future experiences.

  October 13, 2006 - Dinner at Primo (Primo Restaurant, Tucson): Nose of sandalwood (never smelled so much sandalwood from a wine in my life!), plus some nutmeg and a touch of sweetness. On the palate, there's a slight citrus element, with still big acids. A touch of syrupy sweetness, but not in a sickly sweet way - it's so well balanced by the acids. In fact it's somewhat overpowered by the acids. Needs more time.

  June 3, 2006 - Amazing acidity and youth on this. Still too young. Enjoyable, with great fruit and length, but still fairly primary right now. Needs more time.
