November 13, 2022 - Well past the drink by date but still enjoyable. Very smooth, a bit sweet. Nice enough with food.

June 4, 2014 - I would say we are near peak here. The spice--particularly the black pepper--have mellowed just a bit and have reached a nice harmony with the fruit.
The tannins are mild and appropriate for the age.
Finish is mild, but long and considering the price point, complex enough for my liking.
Drink sooner than later. -
