November 23, 2013 - Beautiful Cabernet, its a great place, fruit tannins starting to dry out, everything hitting its spot, minty, earth, chocolate

    Fantastic

February 23, 2013 - Last of my 2001 Dunhams and it is kicking tons of sediment to decant or pour carefully. Deep garnet that fades to bricks on the rim. Nose of well integrated black pepper, cassis, cedar, roasted meats black cherry and pencil lead. A wonderfully complex nose. The fruit is incorporated into a lovely deep bouquet of blackberry, black cherry and cedar box. Dark fruit forward well integrated into some silky tanins and nice black pepper & vanilla oak in a nice long finish.

December 28, 2012 - No depth or structure, lacking fruit. Likely past it's prime as it tasted even worse on the 2nd day. This wine placed a distant 4th in a 5 person blind tasting against 3 other Cabs. I really enjoyed the first bottle I had but this one did not seem nearly as good. 1st 2005 Silver Oak AV, 2nd 2005 Corliss CV Cab, 3rd 2007 Grand Reve Ciel du Cheval Reserve Cab, 4th 2001 Dunham VII Cab.
