February 14, 2016 - BH consistently delivers and this is no exception. Nice raspberry notes.

October 17, 2014 - We really enjoyed this. It was riper than we were expecting, with some greenness underneath, so perhaps there was a whole cluster component at play? Regardless, the interplay of intense spice, ripe fruit, floral bouquet, firm tannins, and lively acidity was intriguing and enjoyable.

January 7, 2014 - Drinking well now, and probably not going to improve. More oak influence than I'd like. Spicy vanilla and black cherry nose. Ripe, spicy, floral palate. Decent acid.

March 19, 2013 - Wow, I loved this wine. Soft, powerful, fragrant, spicy, savory, black tea, strawberries, balanced. Wow. What a nice mouthful. Absolutely delish!
