  July 1, 2013 - Rubis/grenat au disque - nez relativement léger très fruité de framboises. En bouche, c'est frais, fruité avec des arômes de fraises et de framboises. C'est très bon et surtout adapté aux grillades si servi un peu frais.

  April 14, 2013 - Medium ruby color with just a hint of garnet. First impression on the nose is big cherry with more subtle hints of other red fruit. Next comes the oak with notes of vanilla and spice. Red fruit continues to dominate the palate, but there is plenty of oaky spiciness as well. Much more tannic than expected, but it actually helps the overall impression of a well balanced wine. Medium finish with some slight bitterness on the finish. Still, overall this is a great example of an Amador Zinfandel that compares well with Napa Cabernets.

  February 23, 2013 - Nose was a 90+. Cherry & blueberry, some oak, spice, vanilla... very nice. Palate was very good. Cherry, blueberry, & vanilla led the way, with oak and a little spice midway & through the medium plus finish. It's no Scott Harvey, but another very nice Amador County Zin! 87-88 pts.
