November 26, 2023 - This is in a good spot right now, very resolved and slightly past peak, yet needed an hour in the decanter to open up. Will hold for a bit longer I suspect. Bright cherry, strawberry, cranberry, and oak somewhat noticeable but quite resolved as well.

December 26, 2021 - Good, but not quite what I associate with St Innocent. This bottle shows a bit more lumber than fruit or earth character and a bit brûléed. There’s a wine here, but I can’t say if this will digest the cooperage. There’s good fruit from a fairly ripe vintage, but the brown sugar gloss is real distracting. Hold? Maybe… I’ll see what emerges on the remaining bottles. Re-buy? Perhaps not with this bottle.

September 30, 2019 - -from .375. Red fruit (cherry, raspberry), nice cola, spice, good acidity. Lingering finish. Really enjoyable.

September 15, 2018 - Color slightly lightening. Nose still fairly tight. Fruit, spice, nice balance. Drinking much younger than 14! Purchased at winery when it was located in Salem and met the winemaker. Well done M.V!
