November 5, 2019 - The fruit is going, going, ....
Trying to take down the last couple of these soon. It's a light, unremarkable, but well made and enjoyable Burgundy on its last legs. This one was just the 2nd of four with a cork that extracted in one piece. Not a bad wine at all, but best suited for a weeknight crockpot meal (and I do mean that in the most condescending tone), not the star of a fancy dinner party.

July 3, 2019 - At 11 yo, an "old burgundy". Slightly browning at the edges, nose is very subtle, but still plenty of tart red fruit with sweet and beautifully long finish, light to medium-light body. Not explosive or complex, but very enjoyable. Have 4 bottles left; plan to drink soon - the fruit is on the downward slope.

And, 2 for 2 so far with crumbling cork. So far, wine is unaffected and no real cork shrinkage or wine seepage. 4 to go, hope my luck holds out.

June 13, 2019 - Past peak, flavor was flat. Should have been drunk 5 years earlier.

November 23, 2017 - With all the negative recent notes, i decided to try one which I bought from Haskell's in Minneapolis on sale at $12.50. The wine shows a slightly warmer red color, very light and transparent with a slight sour cherry nose. On the palate the wine ahows cherry note and with a good backbone of tannins. It is a very light wine and needing to be drunk. It is not distinquished but ok as a light red. Pretty even but nothing to grab your throat with. My bottle has no issue with being gone or spoil. Not a bad Thanskgiving wine. The flavor interest and boldness appears to increase a couple of hours after opening.

July 9, 2017 - Opened for cork check - very dull looking wine, no life, some oxidation apparent. Nose and taste very dull. Not corked but way over the hill. Did not finish the bottle.
