January 17, 2019 - Tasted after 2006 Kaiken Ultra Malbec. Again quite expressive on the nose but with more depth and complexity - floral, dark fruit, cherries, herbal notes, spices, cocoa powder, crushed stones. On the palate very dense and concentrated but not without finesse or elegance. Good acidity, a bit of alcohol, generous fruit, herbal, spicy, mineral. Slightly bitter with good tannic grip towards the long, vibrant finish. 91-93

September 16, 2015 - Popped and poured at local Churrascaria and was a perfect pairing for all the Rodixio meats. Initially very intense black plum and other dark berry flavors but in a VERY refined way. As it opened up and paired with food, an amazing balance of fruit and acidity danced on the palate. A great wine for a milestone birthday celebration.
