October 11, 2014 - A really nice CA cab. Lush but not overpowering. No fruit bomb. Lasting finish. Good balance. Nice amount of tannins. Brought to a restaurant so didn't get to decant but just a little time to breathe, it opened nicely.

May 12, 2014 - Pretty yummy - nicely put together though it finishes surprisingly hot given its 14.3% alcohol level and it has a little bit of a hollow mid-palate. Perhaps some additional time will help it finish integrating. It has great depth and concentration. A nice wine. In my judgment though the price charged for it is well out of the range of reasonable given what is in the bottle. That said, I will withhold final judgment until I have followed the wine over the course of the next five to ten years because it has a fair number of years ahead of it.

August 31, 2013 - Deep garnet color bordering on black. The aroma to go with it: black fruit; black cherries, currants, black berries, and some spice. Rich and complex. Great finish!
