May 21, 2020 - Clos Vougeot Tasting (Chicago): This is now past peak as the fruit is thinning out and the wood is prominent in both flavor (vanilla) and structure (coarse wood tannin). Dry finish.

May 21, 2020 - Clos Vougeot Virtual Tasting (Planet Earth): Fully mature red fruit with woodsy spice and still showing a bit of new oak not fully integrated. Clearly Grand Cru density. I liked this much more when younger.

February 4, 2015 - Popped to taste, very tight a little angular. Decanted for an hour, some fruit started to show, but not much enjoyment here. Will hold for 5 years before trying again.
