January 14, 2014 - Better than I anticipated as I usually find this producers wines to be mass market grog, but it did have some depth to it and a few layers of fruit and some oak backbone. pleasant enough for a Tuesday night...

February 13, 2013 - Opened an hour prior to consuming with pizza. Impression similar to a year ago, except less spice in this example. Excellent sangiovese typicity, though with a little less acidity, leather and tar/licorice than we prefer. Was better as it warmed up from cellar temperature.

February 10, 2013 - Smooth, simple and innocuous!

October 23, 2012 - - Brick color with medium forming legs

Day 1: This wine was, how shall I put it? It was, "eh". Very happy I only paid around $10 for the bottle. Very generic. Nothing to make it stand out. Was just fine with the barbecued chicken breasts, But, I really would have been ticked off if I spent $20+ on this. Rate it a 77

Day 2: Had 1/2 bottle left from yesterday, stored in the fridge. Very pleasantly surprised. Once the wine returned to room temperature, it all opened up. A totally different wine. Not great, but very good. Bramble flavored and nicely herbaceous. Very enjoyable.
