  February 2, 2024 - Unbelievable and fantastic showing after 15 years, fresh, vibrant, lots of petrol, nowwhere close to the end of the drinking window. Having stored this 11 € wine for 13 years, I guess I am lucky or i like Riesling and Riesling likes me. :)

  April 6, 2011 - Classic Rheingau Riesling, with a quite evolved yellow-gold color and a slightly vegetal nose of peach and citrus fruit, herbs and some mineral notes. The palate shows a medium-bodied wine with delicate fruit elements, a honeyed texture and a lively acidity, but it isn’t completely dry and lacks a bit complexity and depth. Rather decent finish with a little, indefinable bitter component.
  
  Klassieke Rheingau Riesling, met een al vrij geëvolueerde goudgele kleur en een ietwat vegetale neus met aroma’s van perzik, citrusfruit, kruiden en wat minerale toetsen. Midelkrachtige smaak met delicate fruit-elementen, een honingachtige textuur en een levendige aciditeit ; de wijn is echter niet helemaal droog en hij mist wat complexiteit en diepgang. Redelijke afdronk met een lichte, ondefinieerbare bittere component.
