April 30, 2023 - VT Group Tasting Vol. 4: Tasted double blind. This is opulent, ripe and Napa-esque Bordeaux. While the wine was layered, the wine lacked a bit of structure and was too ripe. Not a fan of the style.

TN: Ripe dark red berries, minerality on the nose. A bit too ripe, but no heat showing. On the palate very ripe, dark and dark red berries, herbs, oak and spices as well as a bit of dry soil notes. Fine tannins but a bit weakish on the structure, missing a touch of freshness to cut through the richness of the wine.

Decanting: Not decanted. A short decant should be sufficient.

April 24, 2023 - Tasted blind. Sweet and sexy nose of sugarcoated red berry fruit and fine oaky notes. A light and fruity palate, vibrant. Overall this came across as highly engineered, but respectably present and ready. Good marks for hedonism, but lacking character and personality.

May 28, 2021 - Ja geiler Wein, ja Kraft...aber für mich noch nicht zusammen...wird das noch ein Weltklasselwein...ich habe leicht Zweifel aber genügend Flaschen um dies herauszufinden

April 5, 2020 - Great! Simply great, my second to last bottle, but will try to stock up on it. My wife loved it, too.

June 1, 2018 - Perfekter Merlot. Auch die Frauen mögen diesen Wein. Stimmt alles. Rund. Abgang sehr schön.
