October 13, 2021 - It’s been 2 years since we have tried this last ( Papies 93) and very happy to report that this ( granted excellently stored ) is still rolling along nicely and probably the best one we have tried. Flinty , soft evolved fruit on the nose, soft kiss of oxidation. Very much healthy and evolving nicely too on the plate, good solid acidity and this has more to give. Makes us very happy to have stocked up Assyrtiko for the future in our cellar.

March 6, 2020 - Lots of depth and minerality. This has aged very nicely and still has time on the clock. Like the acidity and complex flavours. Great finish and length.

August 7, 2019 - We would echo in spades the comment made by the sommelier of ( the excellent ) Oinoscent wine bar in Athens when trying this “ this is a wine that makes me proud to talk about Greek wines”.
And indeed for the lovers of purity in assyrtiko this is indeed something special. We could even suggest decanting it. Almost a decade old it is still bright and full of energy, well evolved but barring a few notes this is still on the primary side, full on mineral, almost a waxy dense texture on the palate. Green Citrus and stone fruits run through and through and this is truly a great experience of a wine. Granted we are biased but still 92-93

May 13, 2018 - This is one of the first bottles I ever cellared. I put it down probably 6 years ago. The color was a striking golden and it tasted wonderful. I cant't say I've this wine before, and definetly, not aged. Everyone loved it.

August 8, 2016 - Deeply golden and rounded. Supple and delicious. On its last legs, drink now.
