Community Tasting Notes 3

June 12, 2014 - Dry-aged steak dinner, 0.375 L bottle, mid Jun 2014: milky-cloudy brown-violet; oppressive nose of strawberries and raspberries with lots of alcohol; obtrusively fruity & alcoholic in the mouth; plus a disgusting bitter tint.

Flawed? Maybe, but I had several bottles of this wine in the past (notes will follow) and they all tasted not that convincing. However, this one was the worst. Still think, it's the wine and not the bottle that why I give a score.

October 12, 2010 - 0.375 L bottle, mid Oct 2010: pale brick red color; restrained red fruits, mineral oil; thin on the palate; light body; emaciated texture.

Like a dried up guy in the desert.

June 3, 2010 - 0.375 L bottle, early Jun 2010: brown red color; first impression: the wine was corked, but after a while it seemed more like a strange aroma/flavor mix (mineral oil, camphor, alpha-pinene). Therefore the wine was scored.
