  April 3, 2016 - 92-93. Energized medium/dark red fruit, ripe and expressive out of the bottle with a subtle earthy undertone. Concentrated, but not in a cloying way. Solid tannic backbone allows the lush fruit and vibrancy to hang together in wonderful balance. Long, penetrating finish. This is in its adolescence (I think their second vintage ever), and I wonder if it will ever behave as a grown up. This one, I'll enjoy in its eternal youth.

  August 17, 2014 - Mehr als 4 jahre später.
  Immer noch jugendliches Lila Rot.Kork wie neu.
  Schwarzkirschig,Brombeeren,Leder,recht würzig,leicht süsslich pflaumig,auch noch prägend,mundfüllend,saftig,immer noch starkes Säurerückgrat.
  Leicht pulverige Tannine,Honig-Malz Note die immer wieder auftaucht.
  Langer dunkelfruchtiger,leicht prägender Abgang.
  Auch ein Langläufer,der einem immer noch sehr jugendlich vorkommt,aber doch sehr schön zu trinken ist.

  January 8, 2014 - From original C&B release, lovely dark purple wine, still looks shockingly young but after 14 years surely this should be starting to drink. Glad I waited this long as it is only just starting to drink well- very intriguing nose of fresh rasberry/blackberry, touch of fig, some leather and great scent of violets and a touch of jasmine. This is surpringly complex. Wonderful mouthfeel and tastes very similar to its smell. Both alcohol 14.2% and tannins are well intergrated and the altitude of this vineyard must be the reason for the lovely acidic freshness and uplift. Lovely length and I think this has a good 10+ years left in it! 5 of 6 left.

  December 15, 2008 - Deep dark purple in the glass. Loads of blackberries on the nose. Big mouthfeel with more darkfruit on the palate. Some tar and bramble as well come through on the finish that lasts for what seemed a minute or more. This wine was the oldest Finca that I have enjoyed and this truly has improved with more bottle age. A wonderful
