January 11, 2013 - Currants, berries and vegetal small. On tasting I was surprised with a burst of berries, cranberry, and red raspberries. There is a deep sweetness to the wine that might be a little to thick for me. Not a heavy finish, firm. Good not great. Good price.

March 12, 2012 - Discovering Wine: The Colosi Rosso is a ruby wine made from Nero d'Avola. The nose has a floral note, but also features cedar and scorched earth. Smooth in the mouth with red raspberries and really bright acidity. The finish has good hang time with more red raspberries. This is a solid effort.
