May 4, 2008 - Decant for 1 hr. Color was a medium ruby with a brick hue at the edge. Complex aromas of red + black cherries,strawberries, figs, dates and cinnamon with a slight smokiness. Taste is very bold with sweet + tart plum flavors for days. Some nice acidity on the mid and back palate with some earthiness and vegetal tones. Soft tannins and a very long finish.
