  September 2, 2019 - I snuck this wine into a blind tasting party on 9/1/19 and it came in second out of four wines! It was a Cab tasting and the other wines included Caymus, Refugio Cab and Hawk Watch’s Solo Barrique Cab (Caymus did not come in first). All were wines we would enjoy on there own but the biggest surprise was this 2010 2-buck Chuck Cab holding its own well past its expected prime.

  December 25, 2014 - Shockingly decent with 4 years on it. Very fruity, RS not too high - especially given some of the other wines in this line; lots of good acid, no terrible flaws. I would pretty happily drink this if someone poured me a glass at a party. $3.

  August 31, 2014 - Just wanted to know if I was being a snob for ignoring Chuck. Savory, vegetal aromas of black fruit, plums, and sour plums. This is sweet, grapy, showing no spine or character. Good luck, Chuck.
