August 2, 2014 - Right away, the aromas point to New Zealand Pinot Noir. I like it. It was served a little too cold, so at first, it was a little thin. Nice aromas of cherries and assorted red fruit. Includes a bit of cranberry which made me think a little bit of Marlborough, but it is Central Otago in the mouth. Very pleasant wine. I'd give it an 89.

June 6, 2014 - We ordered these but they never showed up. (No $ charge either). Thanks, Wine Library. Cellar clean-up

May 18, 2013 - (tasted at the Sampler) Typical color and nose of cherries, some spiced cedar as well, the wine is rather light on the palate, toned red cherry character, a bit thin though, hints of vanilla with a tiny bit of chocolate, ends with a medium aftertaste. Not a show stopper but very pleasant nonetheless

February 14, 2013 - My second bottle was different. More coherent, and mature. The style is similar to Peregrine but has weaker depth. The price is unbeatable. I am sure this winery will be real something in 5 years time.

September 25, 2012 - Probably it can use another year or 2 cellaring. A decent Kiwi Pinot. The nose is right in floral and a little blueberries. Some decent red fruit, little bit of vanilla and oak too. Not enough minerials to accomplany the structure for my taste. What I don't like about this wine, for now, is the finishing. Water and taste sort of depart in the mouth for a little bit when approach the end, not to mention except the spice aftertaste, the finish is dissapointing. I hope time will help. Not a bad buy given the price. Certainly a winery to watch out for when the vines are older.
