February 25, 2016 - String nose of blackberry, plum and chocolate. Thick mouthfeel of concentrated bold cherry flavors, and spicier than usual. Still has a tannic edge, although this comes out in the finish rather than directly on the palate. Throws a fair amount of sediment at the end. Always a good choice when a powerful red is needed to overcome a sirloin or rump steak.

December 2, 2015 - Heady nose of black cherry, plum, some chocolate and a touch of mint. Full bodied with nearly complete tannic integration. Delivers a soft and thick mouthfeel of ripe fruit flavor. Elegant medium long finish. A noticeably more luscious character than previous vintages, although has never disappointed. Paired with medium rare Porterhouse steaks and baked potatoes.

June 15, 2013 - Sweet berry and chocolate nose, with a thick juicy palate of blackberry, dark chocolate, coffee beans. Strong finish

December 22, 2011 - Good intense South Australian Shiraz, smooth with oodles of fruit and flavour.

November 27, 2011 - Dark purplish black with a big fruity nose. The taste profile is predominantly marked by enticing flavors of luscious black fruit with hints of dark chocolate, toasty oak and peppery spice in the background. Though this big and brawny wine is still very young at this juncture, it is amazingly approachable.
