August 9, 2012 - I suspect this specimen had hit a closed stage, because it was very quiet, almost muted both on the nose and palate. Some flinty minerals, but apart from that no grape characteristics. Just a bottle of relatively balanced but anonymous dry white. Should've been left in the cellar or drunk earlier.
