February 8, 2018 - $27/btl from WTSO 7 years ago. The additional ageing has worked it's wonders on this wine. A stellar cab, now with smooth integrated dark cherry, raspberry, smoke, tar, eucalyptus, and mint, all in harmony. A pleasure to drink at this time!
According to the back label, this wine was aged for about 3 years in French oak. Very well done, a rarity at many vineyard wineries, and now enhanced by bottle ageing. -

June 1, 2015 - Usually not a fan of 06 in Napa as the wines tend toward being overripe in this price range. Not so with this one. Nicely balanced with plenty of acidity. Nose of blackberry and touch of mint, presumably from French oak. Medium weight on the mid palate and an excellent long finish with a return of the blackberry, and also some red plum.
P.S. Lost some of its balance as it warmed past 65F. Seemed to drink best when it was relatively cool at just over 60F. -

December 12, 2013 - Enjoyed this very much. Another in a long list of wines that are down to the last bottle where I wish I had more. Nice fruit, Some backbone, and a real nice quaff-able balance. Venturied and consumed over a simple mid-week dinner.My wife enjoyed it as well.
