Community Tasting Notes 2

October 26, 2018 - Nose of cassis and blackberry, mouth feel seemed more cab sav than merlot even though it's predominantly merlot. Some pencil lead, pruny notes and dark cherry in the mouth. Very mild tannins still after a decade! My friend and I raised our glasses to Lawrence Herder in memory. We found this in a local restaurant (they found a case in the basement!) and will hopefully finish it off for them. I thought four years ago that we'd never see it again. Corecelettes is now making nice wine from the Herder vineyards.

March 3, 2018 - Not as good as I expected. Good body but missing some fruit.
