December 26, 2016 - Not a bad quaffer. Light, very little fruit, touch of spice. Bakance is ok but the medium long finish throws it a touch.

"Fruktigt & smakrikt".

January 6, 2012 - At winery tasting. Vibrant fruity nose. On the palate vibrant ,spicy, fruity. Quite delicious.

October 27, 2011 - {screwcap, 13.5%} Pale garnet. Modest and youthful nose largely of light cherry and vague red fruits. Light-medium bodied; not terribly fruity but not texturally interesting either; it's dry and dustily tannic, lacks charm and tastes rather high yield, in all honesty. It's not pinot trying to be something else in all fairness, but it'll never win friends for the variety. As the second label for Pipers Brook I feel this is always made down to a price; it's drinkable and is helped by food, but doesn't really draw you back for more. Even at the going rate of around $20, I've always been vaguely disappointed in this wine over many vintages.
