October 31, 2021 - Wow, this is a 2009!? Just dynamite. It poured very dark from the bottle, and the nose was forthcoming right away with strawberries and ripe red fruit. The flavors of strawberries and cherries were positively vibrant, with a bit of acidity to round out the finish. On day two, flavors are turning somewhat darker.

July 1, 2021 - Subsequent notes on this wine from about three years ago. Medium-deep ruby red in color with slight clearing at the edges. Full, forward & fragrant nose of ripe fruit aromas of cherries, strawberries & blueberries with overtones of spice notes of cloves, nutmeg & cinnamon, some orange rind, earthy/dusty notes, cola, minerals & oak/vanilla undertones in the background. Medium bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, ripe red fruit flavors of cherries, strawberries & cranberries with spice notes , cherry-cola, minerals & a hint of oak/vanilla. Lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present but may be close to or at its peak of development.

March 26, 2021 - The nose is very dark fruit forward. Definitely makes you want to taste this pinot. The tongue is fairly bold, but balanced dark fruit and baking spices. It is delicious on its own, but also paired well with the cheese, ham and egg in our Croque Madame! Drink this bottle now if you still have one!

September 11, 2020 - Delightful. Shows the high quality that is consistently achieved by this producer. Very well developed bouquet and perfectly balanced. Long finish. Seems like this wine would still be good in a few years if properly cellared.

July 24, 2020 - Drinking very well still. Dark berry and spice. Very nice!
