August 23, 2014 - Opened by R&C and decanted for at least two hours. Vanilla and dark fruit aromas with tapenade notes underneath. Flavors of dark fruit, tapenade, vanilla and spice with a lengthy finish. Has some tannin to integrate but is fairly well-balanced with the fruit and acid. Very nice.

May 31, 2014 - Had it with friends at dinner (late night dinner). Very nice nose, medium finish. Dark red. A very nice Syrah wine. Nice raspberry, blackberry, and spices (medium) on the palate. IMHO, very good wine for its price range. Even above it. Would not go as far as the pro reviews to the 92+ range, would not go as low as some of the CT reviewers did. I think it is a solid well standing wine. It still develops (and develops well as I compare my memory notes to the ones of other tasters) but it's not one to keep for many years. Drink and enjoy :)
