February 20, 2011 - Nice merlot, but a bit weak on the mid and finish to be great. Through off a lot of sediment.

July 23, 2010 - Very nice bottle of merlot. Nose is a bit spicey and the finish is smooth and full.

June 21, 2009 - Just a great bottle of WA state Merlot. Big juicy ripe cherries, currants, graphite, spice, green olive, herbs, and milk chocolate on the nose. Black cherries, plum, sweet herbs, chalky chocolate, raspberries, and a tiny bit of anise on the palate. Long finish and a full body. The wine made the burgers better. Love L'Ecole's WWV Merlots...usually bigger and more complex than their Cabs which I'm a fan of as well.

(L'ECOLE 41 MERLOT SEVEN HILLS) #9; VaynerPAZZZ; COLOR-nice; NOSE-nice dark fruit, black cherry, black currant, cherry cola w/ hint of celery stick; TASTE-hint of chocolate, extremely bitter onion & green pepper, tannins are a little disjointed, mid-palate completely drops off, finish is a little sugarfied ; WS-91; GV-85
