March 10, 2013 - My wife and I liked this wine. It was "different," as I guess you might expect from what Sheldon refers to as an "obscure varietal" they dub "The Super Freak." Not a lot of nose, and we couldn't detect all the flavors Sheldon describes, but we'll go along with their pomegranate, cranberry, a bit (just a bit) of pink grapefruit, and a tad of spiciness. The wine was mellow and smooth, with just over 13% alcohol. We would certainly drink it again, but it's rather pricey.
