Again 79 is my favourite vintage in Champagne, fresh, elegant and with a long breathe. At his peak. Bottle directly from the winery. Still lemon notes, butterscoth. Good length. 92 -

February 17, 2013 - Sunday Night Wines: Very mature apples – on the verge of decaying, some honey and wax, nuts; long, intense and fresh, a bitter/metallic finish which is almost tannic. Over the top, but still enjoyable.
