July 2, 2008 - Bright ruby red, big burgundy nose of iron, macerated cherries, sweet red fruits, brown sugar and earth, palate leads with its acidity but doesn't close with the sweet fruit the nose promised, some complexity on the finish with earth and mineral notes

December 28, 2006 - A bit gamy with smoky earth and stony flavors that mask the cherry that comes out in the finish along with strong tannins. An interesting, complex wine, but I have to say that California pinot's are much more to my liking.
