December 14, 2013 - Solid CA cab from Stag's Leap. All the characteristics you'd expect. Could go up against a Phelps Cab but better price point. Still has time before peak.

December 1, 2013 - Solid Napa Cab. Still big and bold but ready to drink. The wine settled down the second day and was excellent. Blackberry, cassis, licorice and herbs of Provence. Still showing firm tannins that settle with an appropriate food pairing. Good acid structure with a solid long finish with lingering tannins. A good value wine.
