November 16, 2011 - Open for 15 minutes the Terlan Pinot Bianco is starting to open up on the nose with a somewhat spicy jasmine bouquet with nearly ripe fuji apples, kiwi, and a snow pea and marinated peppercorns aroma reminding me of a gruner. Medium bodied on the palate, I get a notion this was aged on the lees for a short time. I find myself sort of lightly tapping the keys without pressing hard enough to write anything as this just doesn't do it for me. I will say there is good balance here with refreshing acidity but other than that I find the Terlan pretty bland.

October 16, 2011 - Color: Between straw yellow and gold.

Nose: Pear juice and canned peaches, honey, and a hint of coconut.

Mouthfeel: Medium to full-bodied, and almost syrupy.

Palate: Honey, overripe peach and pear, golden apple, and a faint floral taste. Low acid makes it a bit sluggish. Clean, short-to-medium-length finish.

A well made wine and a decent value, but it gets caught sort of in the middle. Too heavy and too little acidity to be very refreshing, but not enough complexity to be profound.

May 26, 2011 - Here more lemon and herb than the terlaner classico. The palate here is more fleshy and dense.

May 2, 2011 - Nose of golden apple, pear, pineapple, snap pea, and herbs, with some chalkiness. Acidity carries nicely over midpalate, with a moderate chalky finish. Rockin value here...

April 28, 2011 - Slight tangy effervescence. Herbal, minerality with a soft Asian pear fruit. Stony finish. Succulent, just a hint of bitter almond.
