Community Tasting Notes 4

December 1, 2018 - Inky plum, with a dark ruby appearing at the meniscus. On the nose, violet, plum, nutmeg, and a hint of chocolate. Smooth as silk on the palate with notes of smoky tobacco and black currant revealing themselves. A treat.

November 19, 2017 - Aus der Magnum Flasche ohne Belüftung und direkt sehr ansprechend. Eher modern aber ohne dick oder überextrahiert zu sein. Kann schon, kann aber auch noch. Gut

January 10, 2015 - Ultimo lunch time tasting (Ultimo wine centre (but now vintage cellars)): Aromas of cream, vanilla, ripe plum, chocolate, slight herbaceous notes. In the mouth the wine has flavours of plum and cherry, thought it is savoury, very tannic, chewy in fact, the plum and cherry notes persist underneath. Big bold right bank. Hmm.

April 22, 2011 - Lusseau 75% Merlot 25% Cabernet Franc produce a wine filled with licorice, oak and jammy dark berries that ends with a medium bodied, ripe, fennel infused, cherry finish. 89-91 Pts
