  December 24, 2018 - Drank at Palais Coburg with Leanne and Josh to celebrate Leanne's 42nd Birthday.
  
  Nose is expressive and lifted. Bright red flowers, earth, mushroom, cherry, forest floor and beetroot.
  The palate is lush but beautifully balanced....cranberry, beets, cherry and strawberry mixed with earth, Forrest floor, mineral, soy, spice and mushroom.
  Finish is long....quite complex as well...stunning.

  March 31, 2017 - Pop and pour. Completely mature. Nose still showing sour cherry, damp earth, dried herbs, and a pure line of sandalwood perfume....the nose is sublime. On the palate, excellent acidity, more dried herbs and earth, orange peel. Silky at first, but transitions to a long and very drying finish.

  November 5, 2016 - Elegant red fruit, sous bois, and dried herb aromas make the 1995 Mazis-Chambertin from this undervalued producer a gorgeous wine now at its peak.
